About Roxanne

Born and raised in London to Irish and Costa Rican parents, Roxanne Kelly was exposed to a range of music from an early age. As an only child with no extended family in the country, Roxanne felt lonely and lacked a full sense of cultural identity. Roxanne overcame difficult obstacles within her youth by expressing her words and feelings through her lyrics. Her songwriting allowed her to be completely vulnerable and honest with herself.

Roxanne Kelly is an accomplished musician holding a Merit Masters in Music Performance from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and a First-Class BA (Honours) in Music from The University of Nottingham. In 2010, at the age of 15, after competing in a talent contest, Roxanne won the Charlotte Coleman Scholarship Award.

Having been involved in many musical groups, Roxanne has performed in notable UK and European venues, such as Notre Dame Cathedral, Barcelona Cathedral and the RADA Theatre.

As a singer-songwriter, Roxanne has performed in popular London venues: Gigi’s London (formerly known as Zigfrid von Underbelly in Hoxton Square), The Islington, Acklam Village Market, The Lucky Pig and headlined The Spice of Life in Soho.

Roxanne is set to release her debut single 'Dangerous Love' Friday 7 August 2020.
